Pedal or paddle? Inflatable or hard?
Don't overthink it. Here's how we help people pick:
- You want to fish: go pedal drive. Your hands stay free for the rod, and you can hold your spot without putting the rod down. The Vibe Shearwater 125 is built for exactly that.
- You don't have a truck or a roof rack: go inflatable. The Aqua Marina Memba rolls up, fits in your trunk and pumps up at the launch.
- You're not sure yet: rent first. Take one of our kayaks to Saguaro Lake or the Salt River for a day, then come back and buy the one you liked.
Questions we get every day
Will a kayak fit on my car?
2–3 kayaks fit on basically any car with foam blocks and straps. Inflatables go in the trunk.
Where should I paddle first?
Saguaro Lake and the Lower Salt River are both close to the shop. Check our Places to Paddle page for the full list.
Can I see them in person?
Yes. Come down to the shop at 6343 E Main St in Mesa and we'll walk you through them.
